    1 | Return window

    You have 7 calendar days from the day you receive your order to open a return request. After 7 days we unfortunately can’t accept the item.

    3 | Condition of returned goods

    • Footwear must be unworn, undamaged, and in the original A.S.98 box and packing.

    • If shoes show wear or arrive without their original box we charge a $10 restocking fee per pair. Excessive wear or damage may void the return entirely.

    We always email a pre-paid label so you don’t have to stand in line; costs (if any) are simply deducted from your refund or added to your store-credit balance.

    5 | Damaged or defective items

    If we made a mistake—or your shoes arrive damaged—email us within 7 days. We’ll cover all shipping costs and either exchange or refund at your choice. 

    6 | How to start a return

    1. Email customersupport@as98.ca with your order #, the item(s) you’d like to send back, and whether you prefer a refund, exchange, or store credit. 
    2. If you already have an as98.ca account, you can request the return in the orders portal. We recommend creating an account before placing your order. 
    3. Wait for our authorization email (your RMA) and pre-paid label. Returns without prior authorization will be refused at the warehouse. 

    7 | Processing time

    • Returns are inspected within 5 business days of arrival.

    • Refunds are issued to your original payment method immediately after inspection; your bank or card issuer may take 2 -10 days to post the credit.

    • Exchanges and store-credit codes are sent out as soon as the return passes inspection.

    8 | Store credit essentials

    • Credits never expire and live inside your as98.ca account.

    • If you check out for less than your credit balance, the remainder stays on file for later.

    • Purchases made with store credit that are later returned go straight back to store credit. 

    9 | Handcrafted nature & fit

    A.S.98 shoes are handcrafted; small variations in color or finish and break-in squeaks are normal, not defects. Try your shoes on a clean surface until you’re sure the fit is right.

    All A.S.98 products are handcrafted in Verona, Italy using premium full-grain leather. From cutting to stitching, each step reflects Italian artistry and attention to detail.
    Are your shoes comfortable?

    Absolutely. Our footwear is designed for all-day wear with cushioned footbeds, soft, breathable leather linings & ergonomic support.

    Many customers say they feel comfortable right out of the box, with no break-in period required.
    How long will they last?

    With proper care, your A.S.98s can last many years. Many customers report wearing their pairs for 10 or more seasons and counting. Our leathers age beautifully, developing a one-of-a-kind patina over time.
    What size should I order?

    We offer European sizing, typically EU 36–41 for women and EU 40–46 for men. Size charts are available on each product page. If you’re unsure, reach out — we’re happy to help you find the perfect fit.
    How do I care for A.S.98 leather?

    Keep your shoes looking their best by wiping them with a soft damp cloth, conditioning them monthly, and storing them in a cool, dry space.

    Avoid exposing them to water or intense sun. If they need deeper care, we recommend a professional cobbler familiar with fine leathers.
    Do you offer free shipping?

    Yes. All orders ship free within Canada. Standard delivery takes between five to ten business days depending on your location.
    What if I ordered the wrong size?

    You have 14 days from receiving your order to request a return or exchange due to sizing. Standard return policy applies, including restocking and return shipping.
    What is your return and exchange policy?

    You can return or exchange eligible items within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be unworn and in original packaging. A $10 restocking fee applies, and return shipping will be provided by A.S.98 at the customers expense. Final sale items are non-returnable but can be exchanged for another item or store credit. If your order arrives damaged or defective, we’ll cover the return and make it right.
